Gray, a manufacturer of quality shop service equipment
for the professional vehicle maintenance technician is celebrating
its 50th anniversary during the year 2002.
Since 1952 Gray has sold factory direct from its St. Joseph, Missouri
headquarters and has been the leader in introducing innovative products
to the vehicle service industry. Gray revolutionized the vehicle
lift industry a half a century ago with its introduction of the
Model-100 Air Bumper Jack. "The Gray Air Bumper Jack quickly
became a required tool for circa 1950's, 1960's and 1970's vehicle
service garages". Over a hundred thousand were sold within
this time period with many of those still in service today. The
Gray reputation grew on quality, dependability, long life and little
or no maintenance required.
Gray's product line has evolved into a complete line of portable
pneumatic and hydraulic jacks, lifts and vehicle support stands for transmission/
driveline component installation and removal along with tire, wheel,
brake, suspension service work and preventive maintenance jobs on
heavy duty trucks, trailers, busses, autos and fork lifts.
For a half-century the Gray name has meant excellence in engineering,
design, workmanship and service after the sale.
